Thanksgiving was great and probably the most relaxing holiday I have had in a long while. Mom hosted it at her house and had a wonderful meal!
Emma turned 4! I can't believe it but she is really 4 years old already. We had her birthday party at Chuck E Cheese at her request and I made her a princess cake (which turned out pretty good I think especially since it was my first try at a cake). She had a great time and loved all the gifts that she got...especially the Leap Frog Game Boy (I don't know what its really called). We got her a bike but she wasn't too sure about it :)
Then we had Christmas and can I just WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! I think that our family single handedly fixed the economy! There were a house full of new toys for everyone! It did have a rough start to the day though...Emma woke up sick but she was such a trooper, poor baby didn't play with her toys for at least two days. Then Pam and Bryan slid on the ice and ran into the median causing her car to need a trip to the shop. Thankfully neither of them were hurt.
Next Chris left on his mission trip to Juarez, Mexico...he spent days before the trip counting the murders that happened each night. So needless to say I was very nervous for his safety along with the other men that he went with. But when I spoke with him I could tell that he was loving the experience more each day. He was really touched by the family and especially the children down there. I am so glad he went and I know there is a family that will be sleeping in a home and being more thankful than I could even imagine.
Chris was gone for New Years but I still partied pretty hard...I think I was in bed by 9:30pm! I was only up that late because my mom was staying at the house and I was trying to wait her out. I finally gave up!The pregnancy is going well and we find out if its a boy or a girl in ONE week! I can't wait!
Well there's our update and I hope to do better at keeping up with my blog this year!
