Virginia...The ORIGINAL South!

On May 21st Lilly got to ride on her first plane. She was a pro and Emma did great! Chris, Crystal, Emma, Lilly and I all went back to Virginia for the Memorial Day weekend. It was so wonderful seeing everyone again and having my girls get to spend some time with my grandparents. We arrived late on Thursday and on Friday we all went to Blue Ridge Shores with Michael Ann and her two youngest and played on the same beach that I grew up on. It was amazing that things hadn't really changed at all, it was just great to reminisce. Then Friday evening we went to the gun range with David and Gavin. I hadn't ever shot a pistol so that was really fun, I think I am ready to own one! Whadda you say Chris?? I did pretty good too, Crystal did awesome, those Californians should watch out!

Then Saturday Chris and dad went and played golf the rest of us took Grandma and Grandpa to Shenandoah Crossings, Emma got to pet a wild turkey and Lilly almost got eaten by a horse! Then that night we had a cookout and a bunch of the family came. It sure was nice to see everyone, especially Mike. I hadn't gotten to see him since he had been sick and then better so it was good to get a hug from him. On Sunday we went to church, had lunch and Grandma's and then we drove to Baltimore to site-see and see a game at Camden Yard! It was a great trip!
