Virginia...we made it!
Two weeks ago I took the girls (by myself!) to Viriginia to visit family and to attend the Grandgirls/Grandma weekend. After a very successful two hour plane ride with my sweet girls we landed in Virginia in one of their worsts storms in history. Dad and Martha even made it to the airport right on time to get us after they had to have four neighbors dig them out of their driveway. We made it home and Emma was very anxious to play in the snow which was probably about 2 feet. We bundled them up (thanks MA for the snow clothes) and ventured outside. You would think Emma was playing in the sand and once Lilly learned you could eat the snow she was A-OK with it. We were there for 10 days and it was a great visit. Sledding was probably the highlight of the trip, Emma was absolutely fearless!!! Lilly wasn't too sure of the cold.

I didn't notice until Uncle Mike mentioned it, but Emma is laughing the whole time she was knocking me down. Just doesn't seem right....
ReplyDeleteI love the one of Lilly in the snow shovel - that one is frame-able. I loved getting to know Emma a little better - she is a hoot!
